This site was created in memory of our daughter. She was stillborn as a result of Full Trisomy 18, a rare genetic disorder resulting in a third (extra) chromosome #18.
A Message from Us
If you find yourself reading this, you have my
sincerest condolences. I am terribly sorry that you have cause to read it. The
choices you will face and the road ahead will probably not be easy. The
decisions you will have to make will be personal ones that no one else can, or
should, make for you.
The greatest guidance I can offer is that you are not alone. From
one parent to another, the loss of a child is the hardest challenge you may ever
face. The feelings that you will deal with will probably never go away. However,
as time goes on, it will get a little easier. Katie and I vowed to take each day
one at a time. Each one gets a little easier. Though you will have days when you
cannot avoid the pain, as time goes on you will find yourself beginning to smile
again, and live again.
May God be with you and your family during this time of challenge and
need. May your faith give you the strength to face each day as they come, and
emerge, stronger on the other side.
God's Promise
God didn't promise days without pain,
laughter without sorrow or sun without
rain.
But God did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears and a light for
the way.
And for all who believe in his kingdom above,
He answers their faith with everlasting love.
